I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Brooklyn Dumpling Shop in Hoboken, NJ, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed by their exceptional service. The menu offered a variety of classic and specialty dumplings, soups, chop bowls, vegan options, mix and match combos, sides, and even dessert dumplings. The Korean beef dumplings and seared crispy rolls were absolutely outstanding, with bold flavors and the perfect textures. We also tried the creative Mac and cheese dumpling, which was simply delicious. The ordering process was unique, with an order number given at the time of purchase. When our order was ready, we scanned the receipt at a kiosk in the center of the restaurant, and it directed us to the "microwave" door where our food was waiting.I highly recommend the Brooklyn Dumpling Shop for anyone looking for an incredible dining experience. The food is delicious, the service is top-notch, and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting. Don't miss out on this dumpling paradise.
Want a fun experience or date night? Go here! Such a fun place to order fun eats and has every staple food in a dumpling form! Why NOT! They even have fun desserts! I especially recommend the Mac and cheese dumplings and chocolate vanilla dessert dumplings 🙂
LOVE! Came across Brooklyn Dumpling Shop looking for late night bites in the city. This place didn’t disappoint.. really cool concept and all the dumplings are fresh. You can order your standard flavors or trying their funky ones such as Mac n cheese or peanut butter and jelly. Staff was nice and there to help us order too. Check them out!
I was invited to try the Brooklyn Dumpling Shop and had a really fantastic time trying their delicious and unique dumplings. While they do have a selection of more classic potstickers, it's the specialty dumplings and super cool automat technology that set them apart from the rest. I tried the Philly Cheesesteak, chicken parm, crispy shrimp scampi, lamb gyro, and Tex-Mex dumplings, baconeggandcheese cro'sumplings, and chicken teriyaki pot stickers, plus waffle fries and frozen lychee frosé pouch. My top 3 would have to be the crispy shrimp scampi, lamb gyro, and Tex-Mex but not in any particular order. They were each super unique in their own way with flavors that were spot on. The BEC cro'sumplings would be the perfect grab-and-go everyday breakfast food. The chicken parm dumplings tasted better than some actual chicken parm I've eaten, my head is still spinning a bit about that one. The Philly Cheesesteak dumplings hit every flavor you'd expect, kind of reminded me a bit of a cheesesteak empanada, and paired really well with the hot and crispy waffle fries. The chicken teriyaki potstickers were more on the classic than experiential side but still felt special, and I think they could satisfy any picky eater whose friends wanted to come here. That would be my recommendation for first time diners like myself. Come in a group so you can (in theory) try a larger variety of dumplings in one sitting. I really wanted to try the PB&J and mac and cheese dumplings, but sadly my stomach only had so much room. Gotta get them next time!
It was new year’s eve night and very late so I didn’t have many options to choose because it was already sold out but it was delicious. And the owner(I guess) was very friendly he gave us some champagne because it was new year’s eve and he explained a system of the restaurant because they don’t have servers. So we ordered food on a machine and got food through boxes in my pictures. I chose pepperoni and chocolate dumplings. Both were delicious. I recommend 😊
Good Dumplings, they are not authentic but are great for what they are. All dumpling we are have their own distinct flavors. We tried the scampi(literally taste like shrimp scampi inside), pork dumpling average flavor pan fried, pork soup dumpling( soup is outside, dumpling was a little creamy, soup was flavorful), kung pow Dumplings had just the right amount of kick & pan fried.
